In 2019, Mr. Maritato was commissioned to paint a series of artwork for the National Park Service site at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. The artworks were commissioned as a part of an improvement plan to renovate the park's main Visitors Center and museum which is set to open in the fall of 2021. The artworks shown here were all specifically painted for this project over a period of nearly two years.
